The building employs the pragmatic timber construction and brick cladding nearby nineteenth century housing and warehouses, but is stripped of applied decorations and classical proportions. The project extends the terrace whilst adapting to the curve of the street.

The building comprises three units: a fully wheelchair accessible maisonette and two apartments on first and second floor level. The plans for the apartments are centrally planned, with living space arranged around their perimeter. Living rooms and kitchens with interconnecting doors align with large inward opening casement balcony windows that open out to the park below.
