Evelyne Vanhoutte

Evelyne joined Sergison Bates architects in 2018, after spending 6 years at Dierendonckblancke architects in Belgium and a year at ORG in the United States. She holds degrees in architecture and urban design from the Catholic University of Leuven and IUAV in Venice.

At Sergison Bates she has led several projects and competitions for public institutions and organisations, among them the East Flanders Provincial Government in Ghent and a Fire Station in Brussels. She has a particular interest in the urban context of projects and sustainable building practices.

She was invited to become an Associate in January 2023 and is based in the Brussels office. She is currently leading the project team on the new Business Hub for PXL Hogeschool in Hasselt, Belgium.
