Planning applications submitted for new affordable homes in Hackney

We have submitted planning applications for two new six-storey residential buildings in Hoxton West, as part of Hackney Council’s New Homes Programme. Located at Buckland Court and Cropley Court in Hoxton, the schemes will deliver 90 new homes in total — all designed to Passivhaus standards and offered as affordable housing, with 65% available for social rent and the remainder in shared ownership.

Apartments are arranged radially around central cores, and a pinwheel plan ensures efficiency while introducing diagonal vistas that culminate in bright, dual-aspect living spaces with room-like balconies and views across the surrounding green spaces. Community consultation has been central in our approach to the design of energy-efficient, affordable homes and welcoming public spaces for the local community.
