KANAL at Soft Power exhibition, SAM Basel
The exhibition ‘Soft Power. The Brussels Way of Making the City’ traces Belgium‘s journey to becoming an internationally renowned hotspot for contemporary architecture and urban planning. Curated by Roxane Le Grelle and Andreas Kofler in cooperation with the Bouwmeester/Maître Architecte and the support of the Brussels Capital Region, the show sheds light on the framework conditions that have given rise to a high-quality building culture in Brussels and encouraged a new generation of architects to participate in its urban development.
Among the many projects featured, KANAL has pride of place and will be discussed in a lecture on Tuesday 22 October, as part of the programme of events accompanying the exhibition.
