East Flanders Provincial Government buildings wins Publica Awards 2025

Our project East Flanders Provincial Government buildings won the Publica Awards 2025 in the 'Heritage & Architecture' category by public vote.

The project transforms the former Leopoldskazerne military barracks in Ghent into a mixed-use urban district that houses the East Flanders Provincial Government and opens the once-closed site to the public. The redevelopment returns one of Ghent’s largest squares to the city, adding offices, a café/restaurant, a crèche, an arts school, a hotel, 80 apartments and ten single-family homes.
