KANAL modern and contemporary arts complex, Brussels,
Belgium, 2018-2025

This project will transform the former Yser Citroën car factory at the heart of Brussels into the 'Kanal' arts and cultural venue, to house the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and CIVA Architecture Museum.

The ambition of the project is to embrace the industrial identity of the former factory, transforming it with a light touch and a deliberate economy of means. The proposals embrace the identity of the historical building and transform the car factory into an urban culture factory, a place of creativity and making.
