Andrew Jackson

Andrew studied at London Metropolitan University under the tutelage of Florian Beigel and Philip Christou, graduating with a distinction in 2007. Previously he had worked in design practices in Dublin, London and Rotterdam.

Andrew joined Sergison Bates architects in 2007 and has been an Associate since 2014. Among the many projects and international competitions he has been involved in are a housing development in Aldershot, Hampshire (RIBA South Award and RIBA South Project Architect of the Year 2016) and the Lavender Hill courtyard housing (Housing Design Award 2022, RIBA Award 2023), recently nominated for the Stirling Prize.

He is currently leading a project in Leuven, Belgium which involves the transformation of a cluster of historical buildings into a museum on the history of medical research, bioscience and the future of care, and the design of an adjacent new apartment building.
