We are thrilled and extremely proud to announce that the Lavender Hill courtyard housing has been shortlisted for the Stirling Prize, the UK’s most prestigious architecture award.
The criteria on which projects are judged include "design vision, innovation and originality, capacity to stimulate, engage and delight occupants and visitors, accessibility and sustainability, how fit the building is for its purpose and the level of client satisfaction." In the words of RIBA President Muyiwa Oki, the shortlisted projects "offer thoughtful, creative responses to the really complex challenges we're facing today" and represent what’s possible when creativity, functionality and the fostering community are combined.
This is the latest in a series of accolades the project has won, among them the Housing Design Award 2022, the Architect of the Year Award for Private Housing 2022 and National RIBA Award 2023.
