Construction work has started on villas at L'And Vineyard wine resort in Alentejo

The cluster of ten villas is part of a 66-hectare wine resort masterplanned by Portuguese architects Promontorio for L'And Vineyards in the heart of rural Alentejo, one of Portugal's largest wine-producing regions.

The development is located near the medieval hill town of Montemor-o-Novo and focuses on a family-owned vineyard with four hectares dedicated to producing red grapes and two for white grapes. In addition to a number of villa clusters, the resort includes a winery, a restaurant, a hotel and a spa with a menu of treatments specially-designed for wine lovers.

The first of the ten villas currently being built is due to be completed in March 2019.
